Fred Brutko Earns Certified Electrical Professional – Inside Sales Designation
October 1, 2014

Tinton Falls, NJ - Warshauer Electric Supply is pleased to announce that Fred Brutko has earned the Certified Electrical Professional for Insides Sales (CEP-IS) credential. He joins a growing elite group of sales professionals who have demonstrated they are dedicated to higher standards of practice in the electrical distribution industry. Fred joins fellow Warshauer employee, Mike Zara, who earned his CEP-IS in March of 2012.

CEP is a certification program for distributors, manufacturers and others in the electrical distribution channel. The CEP Certification identifies that the holder has demonstrated expertise and professionalism in areas such as product knowledge, customer service and sales and communication skills, giving them added credibility within the industry. Currently tests are offered for both inside and outside sales professionals and in order to take the exam, applicants must meet specific educational and work experience requirements.

“Continuing education is a foundation of success at Warshauer Electric Supply,” says Jim Dunn, EVP of Sales and Marketing at Warshauer. “From being an approved CEU provider to our contractor customers to having the best and brightest sales employees, we feel education is a never ending process and true differentiator. Our employees are constantly training and learning about new products, industry trends, best practices and new codes and standards. Professional certifications like the CEP just bring that training and education to an even higher level and one recognized and respected industry wide.”

THE CEP Certification was established by the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) to develop and administer certification and recertification processes. The mission of the CEP Certification is to enhance the performance of individuals working in the industry by setting standards for the performance of industry job functions and assessing individuals against these standards.
