CEU Requirements

American Institute of Architects (AIA) Continuing Education System (CES)
Requirements: 18 hours a year, 12 hours in health, safety & welfare (HSW) and 6 hours in general course topics (LUs). *Most state mandatory continuing education (MCE) requirements recognize AIA CES as a source of continuing education for licensed architects. American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC)
Reporting period: January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017
Requirements: 1.0 (10 hours) every 2 years (1 hour=.1 CEU)
Requirements when joining in the middle of a reporting period: 18 to 24 months before the end of the reporting period, 1.0 CEU required. 7 to 17 months before the end of the reporting period, 0.5 CEUs required. 0 to 6 months before the end of the reporting period, 0 CEUs required. Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA)
Requirements: 30 CEUs every 3 years (1 CEU= 1 hour), including 15 units of manufacturer training and 15 units of CEDIA trainingFor more information, visit www.CEDIA.net.

State Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors
Reporting period: April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2018.
